In this episode, we are talking about reasons why things aren’t working. Are you playing the Blame Game? What is holding you back in your business? Let's talk about some examples of what I hear direct sellers telling me about why their business isn’t where they want it to be. It's usually a much deeper issue.In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • Blame. A lot of direct sellers end up using excuses as a way to justify staying comfortable and they blame others for their failure.
  • Your brain wants to keep you safe. We often hide behind the easy things.
  • Don’t give up and let the excuses win.
  • How to take it from your mind to your heart. 
  • Being uncomfortable because we don’t want to be uncomfortable.
  • Things change, that’s life.  It’s not your company's fault.  As long as they are fulfilling what they promised, it's not them, it's you.  
  • You are the business. You may sell what the company has to offer, but it is your business.
  • Stop looking for reasons it’s not working, stop blaming your company for things you aren’t doing.
  • Self-reflection. So often we are not in touch with reality.  There is so much power in recognizing where you fall short.
  • Take responsibility for your actions (or lack of actions).
  • We don’t want to be the reason our business is failing.  But, friends, much of the time we are the problem.
  • Are you getting in the way of your own success?
  • Don’t blame others. Be honest with yourself and take responsibility and realize we all make mistakes.
  • Do you recognize your mistakes?  What will you do with them?
  • There is so much hope. You have a higher purpose, you are meant for more.
